Is anyone else switching meetings to video calls? I've had people tell me that's what they wanted to do so was forced to learn how. Surprisingly easy, and once I got used to it, kind of nice. Tried a couple options and have settled on Google Meet and Zoom. Curious about other experiences out there? I found this story on Refinery29 helpful with Zoom. Had to stumble my way through the Google stuff.

All colleges in Massachusetts (and most states ?) have gone to video / online learning. No classrooms. We can all do that (I have been doing it foe 2 decades)... with Skype, Zoom, and FaceTime - and yes, Google Meet. Actually fun technology that after a short time, you won't know the difference between face-to-face or video.

Hi Doug, I work with clients daily using Zoom. I find it very easy to use. Since my entire practice is virtual and live, my clients quickly adapt to using Zoom and I am able to troubleshoot.

I've been using GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar for the past decade. I use it with my review (sales) calls, when collaborating on resume draft edits and for LinkedIn coaching and mock interview services. I'm comfortable using video technology from my past corporate positions leading people from a distance.

I'm used to using GoToMeeting, they seem to be more expensive than other services, and each has their bells and whistles. I've used Zoom on both ends, it looks like a great platform and has become a known brand where our clients will trust joining in.

You need to research which video service will support your needs today and five years out. Switching tech can be a pain.

I've been using Zoom and have offered video conferencing over phone calls but I haven't had anyone take me up on it. I think it's been easier for them to do a call even though I prefer video so I can share my screen and showcase their resume.

I just read an article today, warning about Zoom's lack of encryption / security. It is from MIT Technology Review.
