I am currently working with a client who has a solid work history and has been with the same company since 1994 in a series of roles of increasing responsibility. I have seen advice to leave out experience that is more than 15 years old but since she has been at the same company for 26 years I notated at the top that she has been at company XYZ from 1994- present then I listed every job title (with associated dates) underneath. I have seen it suggested that you add an "Additional Experience" section without dates for the older positions but since I've already noted that she has been with the current company since 1994 I don't think it matters unless I leave out the dates that she has been at XYZ company and just add the XYZ company name (even though it is the same) with dates to each job title then leave out the experience prior to 2002. Her work history is impressive and clearly shows an upward progression but don't want it to get screened out because of age discrimination. I hope this makes sense. Any advice would be helpful.

If you use a separate versus stacked approach, you can eliminate the company start and end date and just include the dates for each individual position. This gives you the option of dropping off the positions from more than 15 years ago. If there are important achievements in that time period however that you think are important, you can include an Early Career section, without dates, and list those accomplishments there.
