Hello,
I have a client who is searching for a paying board position. I understand that most of the decisions makers are PE and VC firms, so making connections with them makes sense. Does anyone have suggestions on the best places to find such positions?
Thanks much,
Bob Wilson

LinkedIn - just search on "board of directors" and use United States as the location. There are 20,500 listings, but you will need to filter or read quite a few of them. Some are paid. Another resource is Boardsi - they are a search firm that specializes in placing board members, many are compensated. There are other resources like boardnetUSA, but they tend to source philanthropic board position. Good luck!

Thanks Kristina. Very helpful. I looked at Boardsi, but the reviews were very mixed, tending toward the negative. I'll check out LinkedIn. Thanks again!
