Hey everybody! I've had the good fortune of establishing a strong reputation and building a successful practice these last three years. Even though this is my full-time job, as a stay-at-home father to two very young children (one and three), I only get 3-4 hours to work in total each day. That includes administration and production.

As you may imagine, an efficient workflow is a high priority for me, and it has been a thorn in my side for a long time. I decided to pursue this with renewed vigor in 2023 and I'm testing consolidating my workflow into as few tools as possible, preferably low touch tools with automation and integration capabilities.

I would love some insights on how people manage their workflows, from prospect to close, along with all the administrative details. My 2023 setup is going well so far, but the trick is getting my various channels (LinkedIn, Upwork, referrals, etc.) funneled into one location, such as Trello.

It may seem trivial, but when you only have a few hours a day to do absolutely everything, including writing, it becomes critical to pare down the tools you use to manage your workflow.

I've tried JibberJobber and, while it is great for what it is, it didn't work for me. I've been using Bonsai as my central hub this year. Hopefully that will make a key difference! I'm completely open to other feedback though!

Your reply is much appreciated, and while I'm wanting to cautious about taking too much of your time, I am curious about your evaluation of JJ not working for you? I'm not a representative for that platform, I've just used it since 2013. Prior to that I had a very customized CRM system, that my full-time computer person totally managed. (I had 7 full-time in-house employees at that time) In fact, I've not even researched any other platforms, because I didn't want to take the time! :-)

Totally get it! Like I said, it's a good platform for what it does. There was just too much tedium with the lack of automation and integration. It's been about a year since I tried it, so perhaps it has evolved. But my experience was that it was very hands-on, and with my current restrictive balance, I need something more hands-off.

Understood, Zechariah. Someday, sometime, we should plan to connect by Zoom or something so you can show me what you need and I can compare it to what I do. Of course, taking time to do that does take more time from your restrictive schedule, so as long as you are pleased with your current system, "there ain't no sense in fixing something that's not broke!" :-) Of course, that doesn't apply to your information gathering process for your clients. So I'll be more curious about your level of interest in learning more about that. The more I know about your services, process, and goals, the better I CAN customize my help to match your needs. The preliminary information can be read at www.profilingpro.com.
